What is My Virtual PE Teacher?

My Virtual PE Teacher is a virtual teaching tool that strives to progress student’s academia. This tool uses a variety of teaching strategies and revision ideas to promote comprehension of the AQA GCSE Physical Education specification. My Virtual PE Teacher provides students with a variety of information about physical education and how to revise and answer questions effectively.

Flashcards

We work to create state of the art revision that can be used whenever, wherever and however. The virtual teaching resources we make can be revisted time and time again.

Our ethos is based on the dual coding theory. This theory states that if you have information being encoded both visually (video) and verbally (spoken teaching) then the information becomes more semantic. This increases the likelihood of recall, which in simple means that revision becomes more effective.

My Virtual PE Teacher (MVPET) aims to target A01, A02 and A03 mark points, we are currently developing assessment guidance for students. This guidance will teach students how to breakdown questions into their subsequent parts.

MVPET has targeted the AQA specification for GCSE PE. This means that learners studying the AQA PE are taught the correct information specific to their specification.

The R.A.G. system allows My Virtual PE Teacher to differentiate students on the basis of confidence and ability. The R.A.G. system is implemented on each revision tool; the system provides students with an interactive worksheet with different levels of difficulty according to their colour in the system. This differentiation enables students to progress accordingly to their ability, maximising development and achievement.
